The Human Skeletal Biology Lab
Our research lab at Des Moines University is finally open! (Okay, it’s been up and running for a few months, but I’m finally getting around to posting about it). I share this space with Dr. Heather Garvin, a board-certified forensic anthropologist and fellow anatomy faculty. Here, student research assistants can participate in human skeletal variation research– including that conducted with advanced imaging technology, 3D surface scanning, and 3D-printing. To learn more about these projects, visit my research projects section and Dr. Garvin’s faculty profile.
